Put LionWorks on your device

LionWorks is an app for your desktop, laptop, tablet or phone. It works in the web browser you already have; installing it gives you an icon like any other app, so it's one click or tap away. Nothing to buy and nothing from an app store. It takes about a minute.

Desktop or laptop (Chrome or Edge)

  1. Open Chrome or Microsoft Edge and go to your club's LionWorks address. Log in once.

  2. Look at the right end of the address bar for a small install icon (a screen with a down arrow) and click it. No icon? Open the browser's menu (the three dots at the top right): in Chrome choose Cast, save and share, then Install page as app; in Edge choose Apps, then Install this site as an app.

  3. Click "Install". LionWorks opens in its own window, and you'll find it in the Start menu (Windows) or Launchpad (Mac) like any other program. You can pin it to the taskbar or Dock.

On a Mac with Safari: open the club's address, then choose File, Add to Dock. Any other browser: a bookmark works just as well.

Android phone or tablet (Chrome)

  1. Open Chrome and go to your club's LionWorks address (like yourclub.lionworks.app), or to the LionWorks front page.

  2. Tap the three dots at the top right.

  3. Tap "Add to Home screen" (on some phones it says "Install app").

  4. Tap "Install". The name LionWorks and the Lions emblem are filled in for you.

  5. If your phone asks again, tap "Add to home screen". Many phones skip this step.

  6. Done. The LionWorks icon is on your home screen. Tap it to open LionWorks.

  7. It opens on its own, without the browser's address bar.

iPhone or iPad (Safari)

  1. Open Safari (the blue compass) and go to your club's LionWorks address. It has to be Safari, not another browser.

  2. Tap the Share button: the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen (on an iPad, at the top).

  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".

  4. Tap "Add" at the top right. The LionWorks icon is now on your home screen.

Good to know

  • You log in once; your device stays logged in (a few days for officers and admins).
  • No signal at the pancake day? Sales you log are kept on the phone or tablet and sent when the signal comes back.
  • To remove it from a phone or tablet, press and hold the icon and choose Remove or Uninstall. On a computer, open LionWorks, click the three dots at the top of its window and choose Uninstall.
